Candidates Responsibilities:

  • The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting and developing our business by technically supporting the sales organization in projects, being responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle, working in close cooperation with the Regional Sales Managers (RSMs)
  • The sales engineer is also responsible for transferring competence, knowledge and expertise to the LonTrend team and partners.
  • The sales engineer is influencing decision makers both in the beginning of the sales cycle - in order to get LonTrend specified and increasing the chance of winning projects and throughout the sales cycle. Overall goal is to develop a relationship as trusted advisor.
  • The Sales Engineer is responsible for researching, preparing & presenting technical product training, designed to provide the essential skills for our clients to successfully implement LonTrend video surveillance products


  • Proven experience in pre-sales within the IT channel preferred with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • IT exposure in networking, IP-based technologies and applications with sound knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP), VMS software and hardware technology an advantage Attained industrial certification from CISCO, Nortel Networks, Microsoft with technical experience from CCTV business preferred
  • Ability to provide effective presentations and demonstrations to all levels of people including LonTrend corporate management
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills; and the ability to communicate fluently in English
  • High level of self-initiative, self-motivation and sales oriented
